Majestic, silent, awesome are all words to describe the beauty and fun experienced with a flight in a glider. This is your chance to fly a glider. After meeting your qualified instructor and briefing on the flight ahead, climb aboard and strap in. Your glider will be hooked up to a tug aircraft and towed to 2000 feet, far better than short winch launch experiences. Watch as the tug pulls you and your instructor way up into the blue. At 2000 feet the instructor will pull the release handle and you are then gliding for real. Your instructor will demonstrate the controls before you take control and search around the skies for the odd thermal to keep you up longer. Floating through the skies in virtual silence, gliding is the ultimate in relaxed flying. Soon it will be time to join back at the airfield by floating down for a landing With the full days gliding experience you will roll your sleeves up and get involved with assisting to launch gliders as well as fly yourself. The days gliding will consist of 3 glider flights in the same day. At the end of the day you will have a good understanding of glider flying and may even have caught the bug
